The training, spearheaded by our Regional Director, Sir Ronnie S. Mallari, was attended by the staff from Regional Office as well as select delegates from the Division Offices.
SDO Nueva Ecija was led by our Schools Division Superintendent, Sir Ronaldo A. Pozon. Our ASDS’s, Ma’am Michelle A. Mejica, and Sir Danilo M. Jacoba, through the Education Program Supervisor and one of the division’s GAD Focal Person, Ma’am Rowena M. Castillo along with Sir Mark Anthony T. Calabano.
Participants were put up to date with the laws that protect to safeguard the rights and well-being of women in the Philippines with the discussions of Dr. Diosdado A. Amante. Camaraderie and leadership were also built and tested in the Team Building activities that the organizers prepared. They were also given a chance to socialize on the second night with the GADtimpala.
The Schools Division Office of Nueva Ecija was also awarded with the GAD School Environment and Capacity Enhancement for having demonstrated remarkable leadership in fostering a gender-sensitive environment, and ensuring the well-being of its constituents.
The event ultimately proved to be a success for it allowed the attendees to see and lean towards a gender-responsive leadership that would allow an inclusive and equitable workplace to foster.
